Somatic Grief Relief® Principle:

Set the intention to center through self-awareness.

Activity:

Draw what your grief rollercoaster looks like at this time.

Are you building a Condo in the valley?

What are the:

  • Thoughts you are having keeping you in the valley?
  • Feelings you are having keeping you in the valley?
  • Beliefs you have having keeping you in the valley?

Events you are experiencing that bring you back?

  • You have more control than you realize.
  • You are more powerful than you know.

Your Temperament May Influence Your Grief

  • Grief is an inside job. Understanding our personality type can be helpful.  

  • Understanding why you are the way you are- no shame just awareness.  

  • Look at temperament chart. 

Protection, Connection, Re-Direction

Protection = that feeling in your bones of safety. Someone’s got your back. All is well, if not now, in the near future.

Connection = noticing and connecting with your body, breath, images within & without.

Re-Direction = a new choice, not responding habitually, a new thought.

 

Determine if your protection, connection and re-direction is keeping you in the valley or helping you move out?
